包含制度内容的外商直接投资对中国经济转轨起到了促进作用,这种制度效应的产生和作用机理在于:外商直接投资影响了决定制度供给和需求的某些因素,从而引致了制度的供给与需求的不均衡,加快了制度变迁过程。这种制度效应只存在于转轨经济之中,也会衰减和消失。理论分析的启示在于完善引资环境和竞争政策,扩大引资领域及吸引跨国公司的投资,并以国有企业利用外资实现体制内外改革的融合。
