1992年岁末,一台富有江南水乡特色的歌舞《江南好》呈现在首都舞台。《江南好》歌舞晚会是由无锡市歌舞团创作演出的,其中汇集了历年来较优秀的创作节目。晚会由《太湖春色》、《吴地风情》、《劳动欢歌》三部分组成.其中三人舞《鸬鹚号子》、独舞《捉蟹》分别在第一,第二届华东六省一市舞蹈调演中荣获创作一等奖。《江南好》歌舞晚会以其鲜明的民族特色和地方特色赢得了首都观众的欢迎。
