康德所处的理性主义时代,关于人类历史发展的预告有三种截然不同的主张:(1)“道德的恐怖主义”主张,认为人类在其道德天职上是“继续朝着更坏倒退”。(2)“幸福主义”或“千年福主义”主张,认为人类历史的发展是“不断地朝着改善前进”。(3)“阿布德拉主义”主张,认为人类的历史和道德是永远停顿在被创造物中自己道德价值的目前阶段”,康德以为这是一种西赛福式的愚蠢主义观点。康德对上述三种主张都有所保留和批判,但从他十分赞赏莱辛的观点表现可以看出,在总体上他还是倾向于幸福主义。康德通过为人类历史的不断进步寻找先验的和经验的坚实根据,得出“人类一直是在朝着改善前进的并且继续向前”的结论。
There are three completely different prophecies about the historical development of mankind in Kant’s rationalist era: (1) The “moral terrorism” assertion that mankind is “continuing to move toward a worse return” in his moral duty. (2) “Happiness” or “Millennium Fauvism” claims that the development of human history is “constantly moving toward improvement.” (3) “Abdullahism” argues that human history and morality are at the present stage of forever pause in their own moral values in being created, “which Kant thinks is a Western-style foolishist view.
