记得《读者》杂志曾刊登过一个故事。一个医生为了证明他的理论,取得司法部门的同意,将一个已被判了死刑的罪犯用来做实验,他将死刑犯的眼睛蒙上,然后在该犯的手腕割了一个伤口,并对犯人说他的血脉已被划开一条口子,血正慢慢滴下,过了一段时间,医生对犯人说他的血液已经流出四分之一;又过了一段漫长时间,医生又对犯人说其血液则流出一半;再过了一段很久时间,医生对犯人说血液快流完了。犯人听到这里,大叫一声,就此暴毙。 其实犯人是被自己想象力吓死的。因为医生根本没有割开他的血脉,只是在他手上的皮肤上划了一条小小的伤口;而犯人所听到血液流出的声音实际上是水龙头滴水声。这“血液流尽”
