人民教育三卷四期發表了涉及陶行知先生教育學說的兩篇文章:李剛的“關於‘萌芽’及萌芽學校幾個問題的商榷”和姜樂仁的“評‘小先生制’”。這兩篇文章在引起全國教育界来研究陶先生教育學說上來說,是有着積極的意義。李刚同志已經指出萌芽学校過分強調勞動生產在學校教育中的作用所產生的偏向:教學上的不經濟和學生身體健康上的損害。這種做法,正是陶行知先生曾經在曉莊師範、山海工學團所實行的生活教育内容之一,經驗證明是行不通的。過去老解放區和蘇聯革命初期的教育經驗也都證明着:要把學校當作農場或工厂辦理,既耽誤學生的學習時間(或有损於學生身心健康),又不能真正生產出大批的物質財富。今天,我们
Three volumes of People’s Education Volume IV published two articles on the educational doctrine of Mr. Tao Xingzhi: Li Gang’s “Discussions on Some Problems of Germination and Budding Schools” and Jiang Le-Ren’s “Criticism of Mr. Little”.
