海南岛建省成为全国最大的经济特区。其经济发展主要分三个步骤:起步期,约需三至五年,经济超过全国平均水平;成长期,再用五至七年,提前达到小康水平;然后再花十年或稍长时间,超过全国发达地区水平,达到成熟期。随着海南经济的发展,人民生活的改善,对卫生事业提出了更高的要求。因此,必须更新观念,加速卫生改革的步伐,适应海南建省需要,使卫生事业建设与经济发展同步,要勇于探索,开拓前进。
Hainan Island has become the country’s largest special economic zone. Its economic development is mainly divided into three steps: in the initial period, it takes about three to five years, and the economy exceeds the national average; in the growth period, it takes another five to seven years to reach a well-to-do level in advance; then it takes another decade or more. Exceeding the level of developed regions in the country and reaching maturity. With the development of Hainan’s economy and the improvement of people’s lives, higher demands have been placed on the health industry. Therefore, we must renew ideas, accelerate the pace of health reforms, adapt to the needs of Hainan province, and synchronize the construction of the health industry with the development of the economy. We must dare to explore and advance.
