金边瑞香采用传统的土壤栽培常有茎腐病、病毒病、叶斑病等病害发生。这是土壤中带有病毒、病菌和害虫的缘故,即使对土壤进行灭菌消毒,也很难彻底;加之使用有机肥料,更增加了病害的发生机会。为此笔者改土培为水培。实践证明,水培后的金边瑞香根系发达,枝叶茂盛,没有病虫害,提高了观赏价值。而且水培干净卫生,管理简单,十分适用于家庭。
