一、前言衬板磨损具有重要经济意义的最主要的应用场所是对于低品位矿石进行第一段磨矿作业。对于第一段磨矿机来说,目前选矿厂使用的棒磨机直径达到16呎(4.88米),球磨机直径达到21.5呎;而湿式自磨机的直径高达36呎;砾磨机的直径达到7.5米,而且直径更大的磨矿机即将问世。大直径的磨矿机,由于停磨安装衬板的费用昂贵,而且衬板材料的成本较高,还由于两个新的高应力磨损因素加速了衬板的磨损(小直径磨机的高应力磨损作用不大),所以磨机衬板的经济性引起了人们的重视。
