继去年图案方式文字广播实用化后,被称为混合方式新的文字广播也已接近实用化了。NEC(日本电气公司)研制了这种混合方式的文字广播接收机。本设备是与21型彩色接收机C-21×10PVW连接的附加器。文字广播节目的选择是通过与电视选台共用的遥控键盘进行的。经扩展之后,接收机具有如下主要功能:除显示标准画面功能外,纵写显示、点单位着色、双倍密度显示和彩色图形显示等功能。另外,由于本设备具有大容量的数据缓冲区,使用者可以不必等待时间接收所选择的节目。本设备就是具备上述这些特点的混合方式文字广播接收机。
