目的了解某高校教职工代谢综合征的流行情况及其与年龄、性别之间的关系。方法选取2013年在北京某高校参加健康体检的教职工5 404人纳入分析,采用标准方法测量升高、体质量、腰围、血压、血脂、血糖,采用美国国家胆固醇教育计划成人治疗方案第3次报告(NCEP-ATPⅢ)标准,分析5 404名教职工代谢综合征的患病情况。结果根据NCEP-ATPⅢ标准,某高校教职工代谢综合征的检出率为18.95%,男性代谢综合征的检出率为19.85%,女性代谢综合征的检出率为18.32%,男女代谢综合征的检出率均随着年龄的增加而增长,55岁之前男性代谢综合征的检出率高于女性,55岁之后女性代谢综合征的检出率高于男性。结论北京市某高校教职工代谢综合征的检出率高,应制定基于高校教职工代谢综合征的干预策略,提高教职工的健康水平。
Objective To understand the prevalence of metabolic syndrome in faculty and its relationship with age and gender in a university. Methods A total of 5 404 faculty members who participated in the health examination in a university in Beijing in 2013 were included in the analysis. The standard method was used to measure the elevation, body mass, waist circumference, blood pressure, blood lipids and blood glucose. The third American Adult Cholesterol Education Program Report (NCEP-ATP Ⅲ) standard to analyze the prevalence of 5 404 staff members’ metabolic syndrome. Results According to the NCEP-ATPⅢ standard, the detection rate of metabolic syndrome was 18.95% in university faculty, 19.85% in male, 18.32% in female. The metabolic syndrome Detection rate increased with age, the detection rate of metabolic syndrome in males before 55 was higher than that of females, and the detection rate of metabolic syndrome in females after 55 was higher than that of males. Conclusions The detection rate of metabolic syndrome among faculty members in a university in Beijing is high. Intervention strategies based on the metabolic syndrome of faculty should be formulated to improve the health of faculty and staff.
