在祖国的医学遗产里,有许多治疗老年性白内障的方剂,如磁朱丸,五决明散,养血归脾丸,八味地黄丸等。其中八味地黄丸用的较多,取得了一定的临床效果,但药物作用的机理尚不清楚,最近,从生化方面有许多研究。小岛用八味地黄丸对实验性糖尿病性白内障的研究,表明该药对自内障的发生发展起了延迟作用。本实验使用与八味地黄丸成份相似的牛车肾气丸,对实验性糖尿病性白内障的作用进行了观察,报告如下。材料及方法实验动物为Sprauge—Dawley 系5周龄大白鼠,体重约130g。使用前在裂隙灯显微镜下观察水晶体无异常者,用pH=4.5的枸椽酸钠缓冲液溶解的2%Streptozotocin(以下简称STZ)每公斤体重70mg 由尾静脉一次注入,诱发糖尿病。STZ 射后第3日,第10日测定血糖,将持续性高血糖动物(血糖超过300mg/d1)作为实验动物。实验动物分为形态学观察及生化测定二大组。形态学观察动物按投药量每日每只50
