浓厚的宗教神话色彩: 宗教和神话色彩在《黑客帝国》中似乎无处不在。从人名上分析,主人公尼奥有两个名字:在现实世界里,人们称他为安德森先生;而在电脑的虚拟世界中,他名叫Neo。这意味着他拥有双重身份,过着一种双重生活。安德森先生也就是“人之子”的意思。白天,在人类的真实世界里,他是一家电脑公司的软件程序设计员。他不得不遵守人类社会的规范、纪律、一切条条框框。一旦他越轨,违反了规则,马上就有人向他提出警告。例如,他的老板——一个僵化的机器人般的所谓“社会精英”,严厉地训斥尼奥:“You have a problem with authority.”
Strong religious mythology: religion and mythology seem to be everywhere in The Matrix. From the name analysis, the protagonist Neo has two names: in the real world, people call him Mr. Anderson; in the computer virtual world, he is called Neo. This means that he has a dual identity and leads a double life. Anderson is also the meaning of “son of man.” During the day, in the real world of humans, he was a software programmer at a computer company. He had to comply with the norms, disciplines and all the rules and regulations of human society. Once he goes off track and violates the rules, somebody immediately warns him. For example, his boss, a rigid, robot-like so-called “social elite,” severely reprimanded Neo: “You have a problem with authority.”
