一、来历、试种和推广情况九十六号小麦是前甘肃省农业试验场由国外引进的杂交种,经过在兰州六、七年的试验结果,适合于当地种植,确有增产成效。1951年由本县省劳模带回种籽试种(每人1斤,全数计4斤),两年的种植结果,生长旺盛,病虫害少,产量高,群众反映良好。1953年春由省农场调运我县45,000斤,为便于技术指导起见,集中推广于白塔区沙堵乡,计播种1,976.6
