专业英语是根据学习者的特殊目的而开设的课程。学习者的需求是专业英语的本质和基础。然而在具体的专业英语课程设计中,需求分析并没有起到应有的作用。鉴于此,从专业英语教学现状出发以揭示课程设计中需求分析忽略的方面,旨在完善需求分析,使需求分析所得数据能为专业英语课程的设计实施提供科学的依据。
Professional English is based on the learners’ special purpose courses. The needs of learners are the essence and foundation of professional English. However, in the specific professional English curriculum design, demand analysis does not play its due role. In view of this, starting from the current situation of professional English teaching to reveal the neglected aspects of requirement analysis in curriculum design, this paper aims to perfect the requirement analysis so that the data from requirement analysis can provide a scientific basis for the design and implementation of professional English curriculum.
