自然重砂(灰砂)资料的取得是普查勘探工作的一个基本组成部分,利用自然重砂提供的信息,可以指导追索原生露头或寻找砂矿.如何通过数据处理方法,尽可能多地利用重砂资料提供的信息,仍是一个值得探讨的问题.例如,在利用重砂资料来进行矿床统计预测时,我们会发现,重砂分布图上所标出的重砂特高异常值常常不能代表该异常所在预测单元的原生矿化强度.目前对于这些特高异常值的处理方法有:1.规定一个异常上限,将超过该上限的重砂异常值均用该上限值代替,或者全部弃之不用;2.根据地质人员的经验,将高异常值按某种比例分配给某些单元.这两种方法都有其缺陷,前者会漏掉重砂高值所提供的某些有用信息,后者带有较多的主观因素.本文将建立重砂的理想搬运模式,并据此导出一种重砂高异常值的比较合理的处理方法.这可能对于指导寻找原生露头或砂矿具有一定的意义.
