本文在《脉经》英译实践的基础上,指出中医古籍英译的现实意义在于译者在翻译过程中对于古籍进行深入细致地解读,即是对中医基本理论体系进行内省式的梳理,从而在对外传播的同时重振了民族文化自信心,坚定了中医学者的自信心;此外,也只有在翻译实践的过程中,才有可能总结归纳中医古籍英译所应采用的策略、探讨古籍英译的语言转换机制,进而使理论的产生成为可能;再次,只有中医古籍英译工作的大规模展开,才能够使中医古籍英译拓展多维度的研究范畴。
On the basis of the practice of English translation of the pulse meridian, this paper points out that the practical significance of translating Chinese ancient books into English is that the translator interprets the ancient books in detail during the translating process, that is, the introspection of the basic theoretical system of TCM, So as to revitalize the confidence of the national culture while spreading to the outside world and strengthen the self-confidence of Chinese medicine practitioners. In addition, only in the process of translation practice can it be possible to summarize the tactics that should be adopted in translating the ancient Chinese medicine books into ancient books English translation of the language conversion mechanism, thus making the theory possible. Third, only the large-scale translation of Chinese ancient books in English translation can make English translation of ancient Chinese medicine to expand multidimensional research areas.
