前列腺癌在我国并不多见,1965年张振雄、马腾骧报告12年内共收治前列腺增生症317例,前列腺癌31例,后者占前列腺疾患的8. 8%。我院统计1969年～1977年,135例前列腺增生症和26例前列腺癌,后者占12. 4%。在英美前列腺癌的发病率则相当高,据1972年 Mahoney 报告,自1957年起,前列腺癌在美国已占男性癌肿发病率的第三位。因此近年来,对前列腺癌的诊断和治疗,颇受人们重视。
Prostate cancer is rare in China. In 1965, Zhang Zhenxiong and Ma Tengjun reported that they had treated 317 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia and 31 cases of prostate cancer in the 12 years. The latter accounted for 8.8% of the prostate disease. In our hospital statistics from 1969 to 1977, 135 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia and 26 cases of prostate cancer, the latter accounted for 12.4%. The incidence of prostate cancer in Britain and the United States is quite high. According to the Mahoney report in 1972, since 1957, prostate cancer has accounted for the third highest incidence of male cancer in the United States. Therefore, in recent years, the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer has attracted people’s attention.
