当前学术界借助“社会理论”对文学所做的种种政治色彩浓厚的分析,有相当一部分既无真正的政治目标,更无实现这些目标的依托,而这关键是缺乏对文学整体的尊重与信心。文学不只是形象化地反映时代,更是开拓着时代的可能性,因为文学的历史有自己相对独立的起源与目标。只有当文学研究者共同维护一个活的精神传统时,文学研究的政治期许才成为可能。
