新红2号芒是我们从缅甸芒果的实生单株中选育的芒果新品种。果实肾形至卵形,果形指数1.90;平均单果重391.0 g;成熟果实底色为黄色,盖色为淡红色;果面微粗糙,果点小、少,披粉中等;果肩较小,平斜,果脐不明显;果尖凸,微弯;果皮薄,种子肾形,单胚;果肉黄色,果肉纤维中等,质地腻滑,汁液多,带松节油味,香味浓,风味甜;可食率77.00%～83.00%,可溶性固形物含量16.00%～19.00%;在四川省攀西地区,果实7月下旬至8月中旬成熟,果实发育期93天,为中晚熟品种,适宜在攀西地区种植发展。2011年通过四川省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
