Objective To investigate the relationship between poor pregnancy history and chromosomal abnormalities. Methods Peripheral blood of patients were subjected to aseptic culture, and karyotype analysis of G-banding technique was performed. Results By analyzing the karyotypes of 956 couples, 209 cases of abnormal karyotype were found, the abnormal rate was 11.77%. Among them, 13 were inversed in the arm, accounting for 6.22%; 28 were balanced and accounted for 13.40%; 2 were chromosomal abnormalities, accounting for 0.96%; 163 were chromosomal polymorphisms, accounting for 77.99% of the total; 3 were other abnormalities , Accounting for 1.43%. Conclusions Chromosomal abnormalities and polymorphisms are important factors in the history of adverse pregnancy. Therefore, chromosomal karyotyping should be used as a routine examination of prenatal and postnatal care so as to improve population quality and reduce congenital birth defects.
