《新疆石油地质》编委会于1997年3月30日在新疆石油管理局勘探开发研究院召开第五届三次会议.参加会议的有局厂领导、塔指代表、各路专家、编委会成员共26人,编辑部全体同志及有关同志列席了会议.会议由管理局副局长王宜林同志主持,由主编夏明生同志作了1996年工作汇报,会议就如何进一步办好《新疆石油地励进行了充分的讨论,管理局副局长赵立春同志作了会议总结讲话.会议对编辑部近年来取得的成绩以及对促进新疆石油地质科研事业的进步做出的贡献给予高度评价.会议就充实《新疆石油地质》编辑部的组织机构,适时改为大16开本双月刊,适当提高稿酬等事项做出了决议.会议还收到了石油天然气总公司科技局科技信息管理处的贺信.
