该书是以中国工程院院士岑可法教授为首组织9名专家学者撰写的专著,由浙江大学出版社出版.水煤浆是一种新开发的洁净新型燃料,已被我国列人洁净煤计划,特别是江泽民总书记于1996年视察水煤浆燃烧和制备示范点——北京造纸一厂和矿大1吨制浆线后,发展水煤浆技术的战略地位在我国再次得到确认.该书汇集了1980～1997年来在该领域内的研究成果,特别是总结了国家科委“六五”、“七五”、“八五”水煤浆技术重大科技攻关项目(共12项)、国家自然科学基金项目(共3项)、联合国工业发展署和意大利世界实验室等5项国际合作项目以及国家各部委横向合作近40项研究的成果,同时还介绍了在国内工业生产中推广应用的情况及国外近来最新试验研究资料,使本书在理论与工程应用相结合方面具有极高的实用价值,被列入国家重点科技图书出
