随着教学改革中素质教育的推出,英语口语交际已成为社会的需要,“聋哑”英语早已不适应中国加入WTO后对英语人才市场的需求。着重培养职高学生的英语口语交际能力,是职高院校英语教学的必然目标。但由于种种原因,长期以来职业英语教学尤其是口语教学的效果仍不尽如人意。简要分析了当前职高英语口语教学中存在的问题,并就如何提高学生的口语能力提出了相应的对策。
With the introduction of quality education in teaching reform, oral English communication has become a social need. “Deaf ” English has long been incompatible with the demand for the English talent market after China ’s accession to the WTO. It is the inevitable goal of English teaching in vocational colleges to focus on cultivating students’ oral English competence. However, due to various reasons, the effect of vocational English teaching, especially oral teaching, has not been satisfactory for a long time. This paper briefly analyzes the existing problems in Oral English teaching in vocational high schools and puts forward corresponding countermeasures on how to improve students’ oral ability.
