Ki-1 lymphoma is a large cell lymphoma that reacts with the monoclonal antibody Ki-1. The characteristics and clinical features of the tumor cells are rather special and have many unknown points. In recent years, it has been paid attention to. This lymphoma is also known as anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Before the concept of Ki-1 was established, a specific cell line, L428, was first established in pleural effusion from Hodgkin’s disease (HD) patients. Ki-1 antibody immunized with this cell strain against mice and Hodgkin’s cells (H cells) and Reed-Sternberg cells (RS cells) were specifically detected for malignant lymphomas. Later, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma tumor cells were also found to express this antigen. This non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma was named Stein et al. In 1985 as Ki-1 positive lymphoma.
