尽管在许多人看来,关于中国书画“传统·现代·创新”的思考已经不是一个新鲜的话题,而我却以为,在中西文化交融与碰撞,人们观念多元而混乱的当下,探讨这一话题显得尤为必要。书画艺术家如何正确领会这些概念的意旨,并将其践行于自己的艺术实践活动之中,不是一个简单的个体行为,而是关乎我国传统书画艺术何去何从、兴衰荣辱之发展大计的严肃问题。当下,至少有两种情形值得关注。

It is not a simple individual act that how the painter and the artist correctly understand the intent of these concepts and practice it in their own artistic practice, but a serious issue concerning the future development of our country’s traditional painting and calligraphy and painting and the prosperous development. At the moment, there are at least two situations worth watching.
