当前中学语文教学,在读、说、听、写这四项基本训练中,对读、写相当重视,而把听、说放在从属的地位,特别是“说”,更是等而下之,极不受重视。中学生口语训练之所以被忽略,除了历史的原因外,一个相当突出的原因,就是教学上没有压力,不论高考还是高中升学考试,都不考口头语言的表达能力。这样,大家轻视口语训练,学生的口语表达能力就非常差。一个中学生将来总要走向社会,交流思想,联系工作,这些都要依靠语言这个工具去完成。如果一个人的口语表达能力差,不会或不善于表达,那么他是不能适应“四化”建设的需要的。
At present, Chinese language teaching in middle schools, in reading, speaking, listening, and writing these four basic trainings, pays a lot of attention to reading and writing, and puts listening and speaking in a subordinate position, especially “say”. All of these will depend on the language tool. If a person’s ability to express spoken language is poor and he is not or is not good at expression, then he cannot adapt to the needs of the “four modernizations”.
