The “Civil Building Electrical Design Code” (JGJ/T 16-92) states: "To reduce human body contact voltage, total equipotential bonding should be done when ground fault protection measures are taken, and indirect protection cannot be satisfied when total equipotential bonding is only done. When conditions are met, auxiliary equipotential bonding should also be adopted.” Although this requirement has been implemented for many years, we discovered during quality supervision and inspection that construction personnel did not understand equipotential bonding very well and often found that some of the project quality did not meet the requirements. . This article gives some introductions to equipotential bonding and proposes construction quality
