自党的十一届三中全会以来,我国的世界中世纪史研究工作由初步恢复进而取得可喜的成果。一些高等院校和研究机构普遍恢复了中世纪史的教学和研究。1979年建立了全国性的世界中世纪史研究会,现已有会员300多人,曾举行过4次小型专题讨论会,编辑出版以介绍外国学术成果为主的学术通讯和反映会员研究成果的论文集,编写了新的高等学校教学用书和教学参考书。其中有胡玉堂、王正平编写的《世界古代中世纪史》,朱寰编的《世界中古史》,李纯武、寿纪瑜编的《简明世界通史》,孙秉莹、赵连泰、冯兴盛等编的《世界通史纲要》(古代部分),刘明瀚、海恩忠主编的《世界史简
Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, the study on the world history of the Middle Ages in our country has made gratifying achievements from its initial resumption. Some institutions of higher learning and research institutions have generally restored the teaching and research of medieval history. In 1979, the National Association for the Study of the Middle Ages of the World was founded. Now there are more than 300 members.
