周文矩《重屏会棋图》(图1),绢本设色,纵40.3厘米,横70.5厘米,现藏故宫博物院。此图在画史上声誉卓著、地位崇高、影响深远。其中为时间所隐藏的一切,至今仍是千载幽秘,有许多理应深入探寻的所在。特别是该作是否为周文矩传世真迹?还是如专家所云为“北宋摹本”(徐邦达即持此论)?此图卷又以画中有“重屏”—画屏上还画有屏风而名动古今。画中所画人物为南唐中主李璟与三位弟弟“会棋”的故事,背景的屏风上画有一长者寝卧的室内生活场景,是南唐宫中的生活写
