《小城风光》是美国顶尖剧作家桑顿.怀尔德的普利策戏剧奖的获奖之作。自1938年首演以来,该剧在百老汇久演不衰,席卷全美,得到了评论界和观众的一致好评。直到今天,美国观众对该剧的热情仍经久不衰,甚至各种奖项也一直在垂青这部戏剧。《小城风光》也许是美国到目前为止上演次数最多,拥有观众最多的剧目。究其成功的原因,主要在于桑顿.怀尔德的创新精神。他在当时高度写实的戏剧表现潮流下,选择了写意的舞台技巧。而这种技巧,正是中国传统的京剧舞台艺术的典型特征。本文从舞台艺术入手,着眼于《小城风光》于京剧舞台艺术的异同点加以分析,展现优秀文明艺术形式的互相影响和借鉴。

Since its premiere in 1938, the show has enjoyed an unforgettable performance on Broadway, sweeping across the United States and received critical acclaim from the critics and audience. Until today, the enthusiasm of the American audience for the show is still enduring, and even awards of all kinds have been favoring the drama. “Small town scenery” may be the United States so far staged the most, has the largest audience of repertoire. The reason for its success lies mainly in the creative spirit of Thornton Wilder. Under the highly realistic drama performance of the time, he chose the freehand stage technique. And this kind of skill is the typical feature of the traditional Chinese opera stage art. Starting from the stage art, this article focuses on the similarities and differences between the “Scenery of a Small City” and the stage art of Peking Opera and analyzes the similarities and differences between the stage arts of Peking Opera and Peking Opera. It demonstrates the mutual influence and reference of the art forms of excellent civilization.
