著名的陶瓷专家刘振群教授因病于2007年11月25日逝世,终年85岁。追悼会于11月29日在广州举行。刘振群教授,江西临川县人,1922年生。1945年在国立中山大学化工系毕业后留校任教。1952年调入华南工学院(现华南理工大学),1961年晋升为教授,历任无机材料科学与工程系副主任、华南工学院副院长、代理院长。1982年任华南工学院院长、华南理工大学校长。刘振群教授是国内外著名的无机非金属材料专家及化学家、材料化工专业的博士生导师。
Famous ceramic expert Professor Liu Zhenqun died of illness on November 25, 2007, at the age of 85 years. The memorial service was held in Guangzhou on November 29. Professor Liu Zhenqun, Linchuan County, Jiangxi Province, born in 1922. 1945 National Sun Yat-sen University Department of Chemical Engineering after graduation to teach. In 1952 transferred to South China Institute of Technology (now South China University of Technology), promoted to professor in 1961, served as deputy director of inorganic materials science and engineering department, vice president of South China University of Technology, acting president. In 1982 he was Dean of South China University of Technology, president of South China University of Technology. Professor Liu Zhenqun is a famous domestic and international inorganic non-metallic materials experts and chemists, materials, chemical professional doctoral tutor.
