目的:与美国B31菌株比较,观察研究中国莱姆病螺旋体的超微结构。方法:选取10株不同来源的中国莱姆病螺旋体,用戊二醛、锇酸双固定,618树脂包埋,铀铅双重染色,H-600A电镜观察。结果:发现其菌体长度大多数在100~18.0μm之间,螺旋波形长度一般为18~28μm,菌体宽度在20~25μm之间;依据鞭毛数的不同,10株中国菌株均含有两种或两种以上的菌体,其中所有菌株均含有一种7根鞭毛的菌体,含有12根鞭毛菌体的菌株占90%(9/10),含有8根鞭毛菌体的菌株占30%(3/10),含有15根鞭毛的菌体者仅1个菌株。结论:中国莱姆病螺旋体与北美的莱姆病螺旋体之间存在着明显的差异。首次证实中国莱姆病螺旋体的菌体长度、螺旋波形长度、菌体宽度等含有一定的多态性,主要具有7和12根鞭毛两种类型的菌体
OBJECTIVE: To observe and compare the ultrastructure of Borrelia burgdorferi in China with that of B31 strain in the United States. Methods: Ten strains of Borrelia burgdorferi from different sources were selected and double-stained with glutaraldehyde, osmium tetroxide, embedded in 618 resin, and double-stained with uranium and lead, and observed with H-600A electron microscope. Results: Most of the bacterial cells were found in the range of 100 ~ 18.0μm. The length of the helical waveform was generally 18 ~ 28μm, and the width of the cells was between 20 ~ 25μm. According to the number of flagella 10 isolates contained two or more mycelium, all of them contained a strain of seven flagella, 90% (9/10) of them contained 12 flagellates, Strains containing 8 flagellates accounted for 30% (3/10), and only 1 strain contained 15 flagellates. Conclusion: There is a significant difference between Borrelia burgdorferi and Borrelia burgdorferi in North America. It was confirmed for the first time that the bacterial body length, helical waveform length and bacterial body width of Chinese Lyme disease spirochetes contained certain polymorphisms and mainly had two types of bacterial cells of flagella of 7 and 12
