By analyzing a wrong answer to a physical entrance exam simulation question and contacting the physical examination questions in the similar model scenario, it is pointed out that the key to distinguish the two kinds of model problems lies in the method of accumulating sum and average of linear and non-linear quantities, Two kinds of common model problems in high school physics teaching.
