榉树:Zelkova schneideriann Hand—Mazz,别名大叶榉、毛脉榉、沙榔树(邱北)等,是荨麻目、榆科榉属的树种。该树种以其材质坚硬、材色鲜艳、弦面上花纹美丽、光泽性强,油漆性能优良、耐水湿,用途广等优点成为市场上一直紧俏的材种。该树种生长较快,但由于过量采伐,云南境内现已罕见,应大力保护和发展。据市场调查,在云南东南部及其它榉树适生地区可将该树种作为特种经济林造林树种进行人工培育,大力发展,以增加地方财政收入,加快山区脱贫致富步伐。
