罗旭亮先生凭着多年的美术功底与文学底蕴,在艺术创作中结合时代的艺术审美,使他的书画和雕刻作品标新立异,循古辟新,多次在省市艺术展览中获奖。1993年根雕作品《雄风》获得湖南省根雕花卉盆景展一等奖;1997年,以他为首的10位民间艺术家,完成了寓意香港回归的大型根雕《九龙汇中华》,向香港回归祖国献了一份大礼,《人民日报》《湖南日报》等媒体纷纷报道,轰动一时,目前该作品仍在各地巡展。
Mr. Luo Xuliang, with many years of artistic skills and literary heritage, combines the artistic aesthetic of the times with his works of art to bring forth new ideas in his paintings, calligraphy and sculpture. He has won numerous awards in provincial and municipal art exhibitions. In 1993, the root sculpture “Xiong Feng” won the first prize of Hunan Province Root Carving Flower Bonsai Exhibition. In 1997, 10 folk artists headed by him completed the large root carving “Kowloon Meeting China” which symbolized the return of Hong Kong to Hong Kong and returned to China A gift, “People’s Daily” “Hunan Daily” and other media have reported a sensation, the current work is still around the tour.
