Researchers from the University of Konstanz in Germany recruited 25 mothers, their children aged 9 to 19 years. The subjects experienced unusual family circumstances during pregnancy, with stress levels different from most pregnant women. Researchers asked her if her pregnancy was violently treated by her boyfriend or husband, so she underwent excessive stress and then assessed the sentiment level of the subject. In the meantime, researchers examined the genetic status of a glucocorticoid receptor in children. This gene helps regulate the hormonal response to stress. The results found that mothers suffered domestic violence during pregnancy, children with glucocorticoid
