西班牙具有培养艺术家的传统,西班牙的艺术天才层出不穷。西班牙的艺术必然渗透到体育领域,西班牙也是足球艺术的摇篮。世界上影响最大的体育比赛要算世界足球锦标赛了。1982年在西班牙举行的第12届世界足球锦标赛的会徽,是由西班牙国旗和足球图案所构成,多么美妙的一个世界足球大赛在西班牙举行的艺术构思。西班牙国旗图案中的黄色在两块红色中间,黄色比红色浅,国旗中的两块红色与足球图案的结合,形成一个从平地跃起的、双手抓住来球的守门员特写形象。自下而上斜起所表达的力量和速度感,反映了国家的发展和足球的腾飞之势。
