I am here to attend this meeting in the spirit of honesty, responsibility, trust and cooperation. I will brief ASEAN leaders on China’s outbreaks and major lessons learned in prevention and control and introduce the measures taken by the Chinese government. I look forward to the adoption of this meeting to promote mutual understanding and trust between China and ASEAN and enhance our cooperation. The continued spread of atypical pneumonia in some countries and regions in the world poses a serious threat to human sutures and life safety. Atypical pneumonia is a new type of infectious disease that has not yet been fully recognized by humans. There are no specific diagnostic methods and treatments available, and the epidemic features are not fully understood.
