灌阳县柑桔栽培面积3.26万亩,其中挂果面积1.67万亩。但单产水平低,1987年亩产在450kg 左右。为了提高柑桔产量和质量,县特产局于1988～1989年在23个场2188.8亩面积上进行低产园技术改造,增产显著。经测产验收,1988年平均亩产791.1kg,1989年平均亩产1164.5kg,比改造前两年平均亩产353.9kg,分别增加437.2kg 和810.6kg。尔后将这一技术在全县1.67万亩挂果树柑桔园全面推广,致使柑桔产量大幅度增加,1991
