In order to evaluate the progress of the Western Pacific Region in the implementation of the strategy of health care for all, the first regional evaluation report was formed in 1985 based on the evaluation results of 35 countries or regions in the region. The report described the development goals and issues faced by countries in order to achieve a global strategy. A clear trend is that all countries regard implementing primary health care as the fundamental way to achieve global strategy. Health care policies have become an important part of the national development process.
