根据长沙矿山研究院、瑶岗仙钨矿、下垄钨矿等研制天井钻机的经验,我矿于1975年自制成功了TYZ-500K型天井牙轮机。几年来,共钻进φ215毫米超前孔750米,φ500毫米扩孔650米。与传统天井掘进法相比,减少工程量50%,降低了费用,解决了防尘问题,使作业更加安全。以往钻进的天井高度一般为一个中段,即45~50米。这种施工方法的缺点是,钻机搬迁频繁、架设麻烦,尤其是中段间的移设更为困难。耗费时间为正常钻进作业的3~4倍,限制钻机效率的发挥。
