引种,在育种工作中,具有多、快、好、省的特点,对扩大现有良种的栽培范围,充分发挥良种的作用,提高产量,起着巨大的作用。自河北张家口专区引进的京祖107,自吉林公主岭引进的公交系品种,均能适应本区气候条件,在优良栽培条件下,此地方品种显著增产,目前正示范推广。但只有在正确引种情况下,才容易得到良好效果,否则,也会给生产带来损失。如北粳南移,往往由于抽穗过早,生长发育不良,产量很低,南利北调,会由于抽穗延迟或不能抽穗而减产,甚至无收成。
