景洪市位于我省的南部,与东南亚国家毗邻,辖区居住有傣、哈尼、基诺、布朗、拉祜、瑶、彝等10多种民族,少数民族占总人口的65.7%。属于典型的边疆少数民族地区,市委、市政府历来重视妇女干部的培养选拔工作,取得了长足进步和可喜的变化,使各级领导班子成员中妇女干部所占比例有所提高。到2002年下半年,全市妇女干部总数达到了3053人。其中副科级以上的领导干部49人,占总数的14.9%;49人中有16人分别担任乡镇、部委办局的正职;县处级领导干部6人,占总数的22.2%。各项指标比1998年分别提高2到4个百分点。86个行政村有女支书3人,女
Jinghong City is located in the southern part of our province and bordered by Southeast Asian countries. The area is home to more than 10 ethnic groups including Dai, Hani, Keno, Brown, Lahu, Yao and Yi. Ethnic minorities account for 65.7% of the total population. Belonging to the typical minority areas in frontier areas, the municipal party committee and government have always attached importance to the training and selection of women cadres and made great strides and gratifying changes so that the proportion of women cadres among the leading bodies at all levels has risen. By the second half of 2002, the total number of women cadres in the city had reached 3,053. Among them, 49 are leading cadres at the deputy section level or above, accounting for 14.9% of the total; 16 of the 49 people are serving as heads of townships and ministries and commissions; and 6 are leading cadres at county level, accounting for 22.2% of the total.
