一本学期高小语文课本中新课文很多,旧课文仅占四分之一左右。这套课本有两个主要特点:第一、文艺性加强了,新选的都是文学作品;第二、新选的课文篇幅大多很长。拿高三册来说,课数虽然比旧课本少了十课,但全册字数反而增加了一万左右。旧课本中较长的课文如“开国大典”,一篇分三课,共约一千九百字,修订後的课本中二千字左右的课文很多,个别课文如“小社员”“三封信”等,第课长达五千多字。选用这些篇幅较长文艺性很强的课文,我认为有下列几方面意义: 一、可以通过丰富的内容和生动的人物形象更好地贯彻思想政治教育。旧课本因为受字数的限制(一般文艺故事都只在七八百字左右),课文情节比较简单,人物形象比较乾枯,这对根据儿童的年龄特徵来贯彻思想政治教育是不利的。儿童的特徵是:越是内容
