Wheat summer autumn sowing is a new thing in agricultural production in our province and a strategic measure for a substantial increase of wheat output. In the past, our province’s dryland wheat cultivation is used as a small spring crop, the selection of winter or semi-winter wheat varieties are customarily sown in September or October, April and May harvest. Three unfavorable weather conditions are encountered throughout the growing season.
