From October 12 to October 16, 1995, by the Chinese Marxist Philosophy History Society, Jiangsu Province Philosophy Society, Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, Nanjing University Department of Philosophy, Southeast University School of Liberal Arts, Suzhou University School of Public Administration, Guangzhou Academy of Social Sciences philosophy and culture Institute and the “Open Times” magazine, Nanjing Federation of Social Sciences, “Nanjing Social Science” magazine co-sponsored the “Marxist theory of practice and the construction of a philosophical foundation for the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics,” a seminar held in Nanjing.
