当前和今后一个时期,人武部门组织民兵开展扶贫开发工作,要着重抓好以下几项工作: 一是要从讲政治的高度,充分认识做好组织民兵参加扶贫开发工作的重要性和紧迫性。到本世纪末基本解决我国农村贫困人口温饱问题,是党和国家既定的战略目标。目前,全国农村没有解决温饱问题的贫困人口还有5000万人,要在今后3年完成扶贫攻坚任
At present and for some time to come, the armed forces departments organize militiamen to carry out their work on poverty alleviation and development. We should focus on the following tasks: First, from the perspective of politics, fully understand the importance and urgency of organizing the militia to participate in poverty alleviation and development work . By the end of this century, the basic solution to the problem of food and clothing for the poor in rural areas in our country is a well-established strategic goal of the party and the country. At present, there are still 50 million poor people who have not solved the problem of adequate food and clothing in the rural areas across the country. They will finish the key task of helping the poor in tackling the problem in the next three years
