In recent years, lead toxicity has gradually become a sensitive topic. Children are often exposed to chronic, low-level environmental exposure to lead. The hazard of lead to children is a dose-response continuous process that affects multiple systems of nerves, blood, digestive, urinary, immune, and endocrine systems and affects growth and development. This review summarizes the results of studies on lead toxicity both at home and abroad over the years. It reviews the biomarkers of lead toxicity, the detection methods of lead in body, clinical diagnosis, interventions and in vitro and in vivo models used in the experimental study of lead toxicity , Provide a scientific basis for further study of lead toxicity.
