2001年对世界IT特别是PC业来说是令人兴奋的一年:微处理器诞生30周年和PC诞生20周年。在过去的一年中,作为计算核心的英特尔微处理器持续创新,新产品和新技术层出不穷,为商业和家庭用户带来了更高性能的产品、更高的生产力和更精彩的应用体验。与此同时,英特尔在2001年内取得的诸多研究成果证明摩尔定律在下一个10年仍将指导半导体芯片产业的发展。
2001 was an exciting year for the IT world in general and the PC industry in particular: the thirtieth anniversary of the microprocessor and the twentieth anniversary of the birth of the PC. Over the past year, as the core of computing, Intel microprocessors continue to innovate, new products and new technologies emerge in an endless stream, bringing higher performance products, higher productivity and more exciting application experiences to business and home users. In the meantime, Intel’s many research findings in 2001 prove that Moore’s Law will guide the semiconductor chip industry in the next decade.
