(一)这里所说的内事活动,主要是指所属地区和部门举行的公务活动,大致可分为会议、接待、仪式、新闻宣传等四大类,目前呈以下特点:内事活动的名目越来越多。非但各种会议、接待活动名目繁多,各种仪式性活动也日渐增多。据笔者所知,现行的仪式性活动就有奠基、竣工、开张、开通、开播、首映、挂牌、更名、剪彩、授奖等数十种之多。内事活动的形式越来越繁。前一时期,领导同志出席所属地区和部门的内事活动,一般只是出个场,见个面,讲个话,再多是照个相。现在有些活动,从开始到结束,从白天到夜晚,从工作到生活,陪会、陪看、陪吃、陪玩,几乎是全方位,全过程。
